My name is Osemudiame Iyanuoluwa Odia, everyone calls me Ose.  I am from Nigeria.

I left home at the age of twelve to boarding school, on my own in another state, where I pursued my higher education for six years.

After my higher education, I decided to pursue my career as a basketball player and further my education in the US and Canada, my visa applications were rejected up until I got residency in Dubai, UAE.

During my time here I played in the national U-18 league and played in various competitions, then I had an opportunity in 2020 to go play in the United States of America where I went for a health check-up and found out I had played an entire season with a partially fractured bone in my shin (below my left knee) I was told it would take more than twelve months to heal.

My whole world crumbled.

Then Fashion saved me.
It was during an annual event called SOLE DXB hosted in Dubai, it's an event for the arts (music, fashion, sport, art), I attended and randomly someone approached me and asks me to walk and do a few poses. She looked like a photographer and there were lots of them that day so I agreed, then she asked for contact details that’s when I asked her
the purpose of this, she replied "oh it’s for GQ magazine"  they were covering the event and needed some models to feature.

And that’s how my unexpected, unplanned career in modeling started. The funny thing is at that same event, few hours after I started approaching different brands and fashion designers telling them I was a model, and by the end of the day, I got my first gig.
Fast forward to this day, I have enjoyed being in the industry and meeting various people from casting directors, agents, scouts, photographers, stylists, designers, etc, and experiencing castings, fittings, campaigns, editorials, etc, and learned through all the good and bad.

I’m at the stage in my career where I’m ready for more, I want more, my goals and vision for my life and my career are now bigger than me, in this path that chose me I want to be great.
